Keep every firearm pointed in a safe direction.
Never handle a firearm without instruction.
Eye and hearing protection must be worn as instructed.
Safe firearm handling is your responsibility at all times.
Always assume a firearm is loaded, even if you believe it is unloaded.
Never point a firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot.
Place your finger on the trigger only when you are ready to fire.
Load only on the firing line and when your instructor tells you to.
Only point a firearm at the target you intend to shoot.
Be aware of everything in front of, behind and around your target.
Ask your instructor if you are unsure about its operation or handling.
Use ammunition that is appropriate for the firearm you are using.
Make sure there are no obstructions before loading or shooting.
Keep the muzzle pointed safely and wait for your instructor's directions.
Mechanical safeties can fail. Safe handling remains your responsibility.
Alcohol, drugs and medication can impair judgment and cause accidents.
Follow these rules whenever you are on the range.
Follow every command immediately. Ask for clarification before proceeding if you do not understand.
Do not pick up, load, unload, manipulate or put down a firearm unless instructed.
Keep the firearm pointed safely, remove your finger from the trigger and inform the instructor immediately.
Do not turn or leave your position while holding a firearm. Always keep it pointed downrange.
Alcohol and drugs are prohibited before and during shooting. A breath alcohol test may be conducted.
Wear the required eye and hearing protection while instructed and whenever the range requires it.
Record only from designated areas. Never interfere with shooting or enter the firing line.
STOP - CEASE FIRE - FREEZE
If you hear the command “STOP”, immediately stop shooting, freeze in your position and wait for further instructions.
By participating in a shooting session, you agree to follow all safety rules and the instructor's commands at all times. Failure to follow these rules may result in your session being stopped without a refund.
